anxious to invite the press to our phenomenal event.The news of CSF has spread far and wide thanks to many
reporters and affiliates of newspapers, magazines, radio and of course,
television.We wish to make sure
your audience has entertaining facts and background on our event and are eager
to assist you.We also wish to
invite them to participate, or enjoy the spectacle if they are unable to attend
personally.
We offer
press kits on the Festival as well as itineraries, schedules and assistance

We offer
special press rates to the convention and all press are able to use the special
rates established with several hotels in Gatlinburg if identified as a member
of the press covering the Celebrate Santa Festival.

Qualifications
for Media Registration to the Celebrate Santa Festival:
In order to cover expenses
of food, drink and other incidentals, CSF is obligated to charge members of the
media a fair price for attending certain events taking place in the Gatlinburg
Convention Center during the Festival.See Media Application for details.Press credentials will be issued on a registered only basis for
all events taking place inside the Gatlinburg Convention Center including all
classes, opening/closing ceremonies, theatrical premiere of Nicholas of Myra,
and the Jingle Bell Ball.Any
credentials applied for automatically are subject to the Terms and Conditions
as set forth here.
A "press agency"
for purposes of receiving credentials shall mean a daily or weekly publication,
cable system, radio or television station or network requiring immediate news
coverage. "Immediate news coverage" for purposes of these criteria
shall mean that the editorial, audio and/or visual deadline being documented
occurs no later than 48 hours after the competition of the event.
Membership in a writers or
broadcasters association does not automatically qualify an agency or individual
for credentials.
An individual holding a
credential is subject to removal from the convention center for violating CSF
credential policies.
Except for television camera
operators, a credential may be issued only to an authorized full-time, salaried
representative of, or a representative who regularly and customarily performs
services for, the agency submitting the request.
